Thomas

We attempted to go ride on Thomas at Greenfield Village, but due to my poor directions and a lot of construction we arrived just as Thomas was leaving the station. We decided to try it again at Crossroads Village. We went with the Smith family. They have 2 boys who are also big Thomas fans. Matt had a great time riding on the train and other activities that they had set up. It doesn't look like he was having fun in the pictures, but he just isn't a fan of pictures lately.

Gwen 4 months Matt 26 months

Armada Fair

We took our 2nd annual trip to the Armada Fair with Grandpa, Grandma, MaMaw, Auntie Hannah, Drew, & Nick. Matt was scared of all the animals and refused to pet them even with Grandma's coaxing, but Nick really liked them. Matt did like the tractors and riding the carousel, and following Drew wherever he went.

Mooradian Playdate

We had another playdate at Melissa's house. With 7 kids we don't take quite as many pictures, but we did attempt to get one with all the kids. The boys had fun playing with all the toys on their deck and the girls slept and ate.

Andrew's 6th Birthday

Andrew's 6th birthday party was also at the Troy Family Aquatic Center. It was the evening of his actual birthday August 18th. We had pizza and cake and then swam for a couple hours and then Drew opened his gifts. It was a great time.

Troy Family Aquatic Center

Swimming is one of Matt's favorite activities. It was great to see how much more comfortable he was as the summer progressed. It was nice when Dan was able to go to the pool with us so one of us could play with Matt and not have to worry about also watching Gwen. On this perticular day the weather didn't look too promising, but we went anyway. It turned out to be perfect because it was not crowded at all and not too hot for Gwen. In addition to the pool they also have a giant sandbox which Matt loves too.

Greenfield Village

We made a few trips to Greenfield Village this summer. My Dad had family in from Texas so they were there with them and met Hannah and I in the village for a little bit. The boys liked all the rides of course...the old cars, a horse drawn wagon, and the carousel. Matt liked doing whatever Drew was doing. He was a little unsure about riding the carousel and since Gwen rode it on the bench Matt wanted to too.
