Gwen-One Month

I am a little behind on my blog posts.  I guess that is what 2 kids does to me.  These pictures were taken when Gwen was about 1 month.  Around that time was when she started being awake a lot more.

The Park

Family walks often end up leading to the park.  Matt is going through a weird phase where he will only go down the slide with Dan or I.  Mother's Day evening we spent some nice family time at the park.  There was no one else there.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day we had my grandparents, parents, and sister and her family over for brunch to celebrate.  We had a great time.  The kids had fun playing outside.  They played baseball, on the swing, and with the bubble machine.  This was the last time my family was all together before my grandpa passed away.  Glad we have such good memories.

Dairy Deluxe

We took our first walk of the season to Dairy Deluxe, the best soft-serve ice cream place.  It was Gwen's first time going there ever and Matt's first time having his own ice cream.  We lucked out and they had our favorite flavor, boysenberry.  We stopped and picked up Drew, Nick, and Uncle Jason on the way.

The Zoo...Again

I ventured to the zoo last week with both kids by myself.  I didn't want to take Gwendolyn to any confined, germy, public places, but also didn't want to deprive Matt of any fun adventures so the fresh air of the zoo won.  It was about 80 degrees so I wasn't the only one with this idea.  Matt did great holding my hand if he wanted to walk or riding in the stroller.  We packed a picnic lunch and Matt wanted to carry his little cooler the whole time or keep it on his lap if we were riding.  Gwen slept the whole time.  Matt really liked the zebras (Yebbys), rhino, and the polar bears, which do "scoops" like Matt at swimming lessons.

Doggie Jams

Uncle Pete and Auntie Audrey bought Gwen these pajamas for Christmas because they know my love of daschunds.  Every morning when Matt gets up he runs in our room to check out Gwen in her bassinet.  He loves when she is wearing her doggie pajamas, especially when he is wearing his!

Grant

Auntie Andrea and Grant came over so the boys could play.  Andrea was kind enough to watch Matt while I took Gwen to yet another doctors appointment.  The boys were very entertained by the dogs next door and playing with the balls.
