We weren't really sure what to expect from Matthew when we brought Gwendolyn home. So far he has been really good. He plays independently really well. Auntie Hannah, Uncle Jason, Drew & Nick got him a matching puzzle to match colors and textures. He knows them all. He also loves alphabet games. He knows all of his letters and quite a few words that go with each letter. "N is for Nick"

Gwendolyn Marie
Gwendolyn Marie Mooradian was born Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, at 9:28 p.m. She was 8lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. What a precious addition to our family. Matthew is a great big brother. I don't know if he realizes that she is here to stay permanently, but he already brings Gwendolyn her blanket and some of his toys. He says her name is "Wen."

Easter
Matt wasn't feeling well Easter weekend so we laid low at home. Easter Sunday morning we colored eggs at home. He loved it! I think he remembered making them at Grandma's so he was very excited to do it again. After the eggs dried we hunted for them in the backyard. Matt kept asking for more so basically the eggs were the toy of the day and kept him very entertained.

Detroit Zoo
Dan had the day off on Good Friday and it was supposed to be sunny and almost 80 degrees so we decided to go to the zoo. Dave, Andrea, Grant, Hannah, Drew, & Nicklas came too. We got there when they opened at 9am and good thing because the zoo was a zoo by the time we left. The animals were all pretty active so the boys had a lot of fun. Matt liked walking around with Drew and riding in the wagon with Grant.
