Adalyn's Birthday

Dear friends Dave & Amanda's daughter turned 1. They had a great party in their backyard for her. The weather looked threatening, but the rain held off until the very end. They had a very fun bounce house that matt loved jumping in.

Mooradian Playdate

We had another playdate with the Mooradian cousins. Melissa was gracious enough to host us, even though she is busy with her new twin girls, Tatum & Alex. The boys had fun playing with all the toys on her deck.

Uncle Pete, Auntie Audrey, & Charlie

came for a visit before heading up to Traverse City for Memorial Day. It was great to be able to spend some time with them. They got to meet Gwendolyn for the first time and Matt and Charlie had a chance to play together.

"Water Tabeetle"

That is Matt's name for the water table. I think I will actually be sad when he says the word table correctly. His "yebbie" is one of his favorite animals. He decided that it needed a bath and like everything else around ended up in his mouth. Have I mentioned that I will be happy when all his teeth finally come in and this "everything in his mouth" stage is over?

Dinner Time

Dinner time is sometimes a crazy time depending on who is awake, but we always try to eat together as a family. I am so thankful that Dan makes it a priority to be home for dinner. Gwen likes in on the action too.

Emma & Max

Emma & Max live next door. Matt loves to play with them. They push him on the swing or in his car. They bring out some of their toys for him to play with and are always patient with him even though he is so much younger than they are. I can't wait until they are old enough to babysit!

Birthday BBQ

Jason and Hannah hosted a bbq at their house for my birthday. The weather was great. The kids had fun playing outside and in the water table. Jason grilled some great kabobs and mom made a great ice cream cake.

Surprise Party

My wonderful husband threw a surprise 30th birthday party for me. He had some help from my very thoughtful sister, who even managed to show off her crafting and baking skills for the occasion. They managed to pull it off so I was very surprised. My parents babysat Gwen and Matt for what I thought would be a nice dinner out with just Dan and I. When we showed up at Flemings in Birmingham my friends were all waiting for us. The food was great and the company better. Thanks Dan & Hannah.
